Northern Idaho Trip

Northern Idaho
We slept out under the stars our first night and I FROZE! My teeth were chattering in the picture.

For my birthday we ate breakfast at this restaurant in Missoula that is built over the river. The food wasn't that good, but the river was cool!

Wallace, Idaho
Just a few pictures of the beautiful scenery

Fishing the St. Joe River near Avery, ID. St. Joe river is BEAUTIFUL! The water is crystal clear and there are so many good fishing pools and runs. Such good fly fishing. We caught cutthroat trout.
My birthday fish! This fish did not want to hold still for anything!

We camped 4 nights at various places, pretty much wherever we were at the end of the day.

Killarney Lake

Big fat bluegill caught at Anderson Lake (one of the Chain Lakes)

Coeur d' Alene Lake
Hayden Lake
North Idaho College beach (it's part of campus!)

We couldn't resist a little yard sale-ing while we were there!

We had ordered some things from Cabela's and had them shipped to the Post Falls store (free shipping that way) , so I had birthday presents to pick up!
Playing shooting gallery at Cabela's.

We had an awesome trip! It was a lot of time in the car, but even that was enjoyable because Will and I were together and we had a lot of time to talk and spend time together.

Looks like you had a fun vacation and a memorable birthday. That trout sure looks like it wanted to end up on my dinner table. Too bad it was so far away. It makes my mouth water to see it. Beautiful scenery.

*sigh* so beautiful! I love how you just camped anywhere. Way to travel! When you camp do you eat a lot of fish?
