Yesterday was an exciting day and very blog-worthy because we caught fish! This weekend is the biggest sale of the year for Al's (where Will works) so he's been working every day. But yesterday he didn't work until 1 p.m. so we decided to drive up to Willow Flat and fish the Cub in the morning before he headed off to work. It is so beautiful up there. The drive is great, too.
After getting our fly rods rigged and our waders on, we found a nice little spot to fish in right by the road. Obviously this spot gets fished a lot because of the location. When we got there there were a couple of little kids there catching fish and last week Dr. Kelley told us he caught fish there, in that same spot, too.
I caught a total of 5 and Will caught 2; all were rainbow trout. I wonder how it feels to have your wife out-fish you?? :) Oh, he's probably used to it by now. Ha ha.
This was the spot. You can see a fish rising. (where the ripples are)
It was a beautiful day for fishing! I love Idaho!

i thought about you this weekend.. because WE WENT FISH'N!! jeremy caught like 8 fish and he was lov'n it! i didn't think i like fishing very much, but now i have definetly changed my mind!
You guys are fishing fools! You need to take us on one of those "free" weekdends. Did that time already pass? (you know when they have a day they let you fish without a pass). I'd love to go with someone that actually knows what they are doing since neither one of us has a clue!
