After almost 3 years of living in our home we finally got some new steps and front sidewalk poured. When we bought the house, the steps were broken and pulled away from the front porch, and the sidewalk was very cracked up and broken. We hired a contractor to do it. I think it turned out very good! Now we just need to figure out a hand rail for it.
There was about a week in between the time he took out the old steps/framed new ones, and poured the new ones. So, we just had to use our back door for that time. The mailman was still able to put our mail in the mailbox. And the few people that came to our door just ended up knocking on the front bedroom window until we came out onto the porch. That was pretty fun.

Wow. The sidewalk and steps look awesome!!! I can hardly wait to see them. You guys are doing a great job of fixing up the house.
